Tigers come from behind to win a spot in the semifinals!
A three goal second half earned us the win!
What a game! Quite the rollercoaster of a game. A miscommunication on the back line allowed Ensworth to score a goal within the first two minutes of the game. It wasn't the game plan we discussed, but we clawed our way back to get the equalizer. Alexandria Manoukian '28 served a fantastic corner kick and Johnsie Dawkins '28 got her head on it and redirected it past the keeper! What a goal! Late in the half, Ensworth was able to pull ahead after getting a counter attack off of a saved PK.
Although shoulders were slumped going into the half down 2-1, the Tigers knew what changes needed to happen and came back with plenty of energy. With 15 minutes to play in the half, Natalie Choe '28 scored her first goal of the season on a very well played breakaway to get us even 2-2. With minutes waining in the game, Sydney Lasher '29 got a strong strike on a flubbed goal kick and scored from 25 yards out! 3-2!
With less than 3 minutes to play, Charlotte Kehler '29 got a hustle goal off of another Alexandria Manuokian '28 corner kick! The Tigers got the win 4-2.
