Tennessean names Flatau as Coach of the Year

Congratulations to Cross Country Coach and High School Chemistry Teacher George Flatau for this well-deserved honor. Main Street Media also named our the Tigers as Team of the Year.

The Tennessean has named University School of Nashville's Cross Country Coach and High School Chemistry Teacher George Flatau as Coach of the Year for 2022. In November, he led the boys cross country team to win its sixth team state championship in program history and repeat last year’s title. The harriers won the 2022 title by 30 points and made it their third title in four years. Flatau has noted that 2022 is "the year of the Tiger."
