Returning from Spring Break

Head of Middle School Jeff Greenfield shares post-Spring Break plans and expectations with Middle School families.
By Jeff Greenfield, Head of Middle School

Here's a quick word about returning to classes after Spring Break. We fully expect to return to in-person classes on Monday, March 22. By now I hope you know we always want you to be cautious about returning to campus after traveling or taking part in a large group gathering in a confined space.

We're asking for you to follow CDC guidelines, which recommend a seven-day quarantine after air travel or if you've stayed in a home with others beyond your immediate family, and a negative PCR test on days 5, 6, or 7, which our Health Team can administer through a local lab that bills insurance directly.

If you are vaccinated or have other questions about determining if your plans warrant the need to quarantine, our Health Team is here to help via email or by calling 615-277-7380.

For those who will need to quarantine, please contact the grade-level administrative liaison for your student's grade listed below. We will compile a list to share with our faculty who are eager to know what to anticipate the week of March 22. As you would expect, they aim to design the most effective learning plans possible; knowing who to expect on Zoom will help them to do so. Here's a reminder of whom to contact:

6th grade: Helen Tarleton
7th grade: Kelicia Cox
8th grade: Jeff Greenfield
