Strong hitting not enough as USN falls to BGA

Despite outhitting BGA seven to five, USN still fell 6-3 on Thursday to Battle Ground Academy. USN seniors Joseph Ozenne and Grant Reilly each collected two hits for the Tigers in the loss. USN got on the board in the 1st after junior Andrew Walker signed, scoring one. A single by Ozenne in the 2nd extended the Tiger lead to 2-0. BGA Would answer back in the bottom of the 2nd and give the Wildcats the lead 3-2. Undeterred, USN would tie the game in the top of the 4th when Ozenne again would single to even the score at 3-3. BGA would extend their lead with one run in the bottom of the 5th and two more in the bottom of the 6th. USN is now 5-2 overall and 1-2 in district play.
