Tiger Give Back Challenge is March 25

The Tiger Give Back Challenge, our school's annual giving day, is on Wednesday, March 25. Circle the date on your calendar in Columbia blue and garnet. Consider volunteering to phone a friend during the Connect-a-thon. You don't have to wait for Wednesday to be part of the challenge.

The Tiger Give Back Challenge is a day to celebrate University School of Nashville. We wear school colors and sing "The Alma Mater." The Cheer Squad and Pep Band raise our spirits. We think of teachers and classmates and pause to appreciate the experience of being a Tiger. Finally, we open our hearts and hands to support the school with a charitable gift to the Annual Fund. All members of our community are asked to give: faculty, staff, alumni, parents of former students, parents of current students, and even students themselves.

If you would like to volunteer in our Connect-a-thon, please let us know. All day long, volunteers will connect with alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends to encourage their generosity. More volunteers means more donations, and more donations means a stronger USN.

One reason why USN is among the finest schools in the entire Southeast region is the Annual Fund. Interim Director Juliet Douglas hits the nail on the head when she says that the Annual Fund lifts our school from the category of excellent to the category of exceptional.

So, Tigers, whether by giving or volunteering (or both!), please join us on Wednesday, March 25. Your support is sincerely appreciated.

    The girls lacrosse team ended its season in overtime to become state runner-up. Tennis players Carter Kojetin '29 finished as a state quarterfinalist, Sophie Oliver '26 and Mary Kate Adler '28 finished as state semifinalists, and Veer Kodali '29 and Max Parker '29 finished as state champions. Meanwhile, eight runners competed at the state track and field meet in Knoxville, where Griffin Davidson '27, Caleb Freifeld '28, Drew Zwerner '28, and Jack Fruin '27, sprinted to first in the 4x800m relay and Jack also placed first in the 800m dash.
