Rachel Harley is joining our Middle School Instructional Leadership Team as our Learning Specialist. She has spent over a decade in middle school education, most recently at Episcopal School of Nashville, teaching and leading in both public and independent school settings. Throughout her career, she has taught all core academic subjects, served as an interventionist, mentored teachers, and led teams focused on curriculum design and instructional excellence. Rachel is passionate about using data to drive differentiated instruction, designing systems that help all students succeed, and building strong relationships that serve as the foundation for learning and growth. Outside of school, Rachel is mom to Julia (4) and Tru (almost 1), and is currently working with her husband to renovate an antique shop for their 1940s stone cottage. She is excited to join the Middle School ILT and partner with colleagues to support exceptional teaching and meaningful learning across USN.
