Students Excel on National Mythology Exam

Forty-six Middle School scholars took on the American Classical League’s National Mythology Exam, passing the exam with flying colors. Congratulations to Lucas Lupu ’31 and James Keiper ’31, who turned in perfect papers during the exam. Several students also earned medals and high honors.

Forty-six Middle School heroes bravely dared to take on Hades as members of the Pegasus Society. Our heroes studied Greek mythology, art, and the geography related to mythology. This year, they focused on defeating death. At the end of their studies, they took the American Classical League’s National Mythology Exam.

Lucas Lupu ’31 and James Keiper ’31 had a perfect exam. The ACL also awarded a Gold Medal to Aidan Park ’33.

Ian Drewry ’30, Indy O'Hare ’32, and Neel Sinha ’31 received Silver Medals.

The ACL gave Magna Cum Laude to Elliott Carlo ’32, Rose Doyle ’30, Samantha Shaba ’32, Zoey Wei ’31, and Crockett Zieher ’31.

Max Haber ’31, Tommy Horst ’33, Everett Huffman ’33, Jessica Huo ’32, Elliott Karpinos ’31, and Mac Perry ’30 were Cum Laude.

These heroes also conquered death: Barry Chen ’30, Corinna Collier ’30, Adelaide Dervan ’32, Sebastian Doochin ’33, Gwendolyn Dudley ’33, Jonathan Haber ’33, Mila Kennedy ’32, Walden Li ’33, Liam McLaughlin ’32, Edith McLean ’33, Lily Miller ’31, Jack Moll ’33, Sulaiman Moskinzada ’31, Anisha Nachnani ’32, Nora O’Laughlin ’30, Naima Robinson ’32, Teddy Sauer ’31, E.B.   • HS athletics recaps for September 11-17

    Tiger golfers have officially qualified for the region tournament, and our other teams are not far behind. Volleyball sits near the top of the district, finishing up regular season play next week with Senior Night. Girls soccer continues to hold first place in the district after another 9-0 win, and our cross country runners are chasing after some school records. To round it all out, our mountain bike team traveled to Oakfield to continue to improve on their times for the season. There’s plenty more where that came from- so be sure to come out to the River Campus, Sperling Gym, or out on the road to cheer on our Tigers before their seasons end.

  • MS athletics recaps for September 11-17

    Middle School volleyball and tennis teams are nearing the final games of their seasons, with the competition heating up while the Tigers play to determine their HVAC rankings. Cross country was finally able to race at the River Campus despite the heat, and our mountain biking team traveled to Oakfield, Tennessee, for a high-temperature race weekend.
