Back-to-school Popsicle Party cancelled

Mother Nature is not cooperating for our annual Popsicle Party. Depending on which weather app you use, actual and feels-like temperatures are 98 to 101 and higher. Under these conditions, we would limit student activities, so, in the interest of everyone's health and well-being, we are going to cancell our gathering at the River Campus. There is just not enough shade and certainly no air conditioning to bring relief to hundreds of USN families. Thank you for understanding. We look forward to seeing you in a few days for the start of our new school year.
Cool off from summer over frozen treats and connect with Director Rob Hereford, classmates, families, and faculty 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 16 at the River Campus. This annual back-to-school event has been moved due to the Back Lawn renovation, yet it offers the USN community an opportunity to reconnect with friends as well as our new Director. Also during the Popsicle Party, families can sign up to volunteer during Fall Fest, Spring Book Frenzy, Artclectic, and other service opportunities as well as renew their family's membership with our booster clubs, Tiger Club for athletics and Tiger Arts Patrons. Treats and space to play will be plentiful.

  • HS athletics recaps for September 3-10

    The Tigers have come back strong after time away on retreats & a holiday weekend. While golf is nearing the end of its season, cross country and mountain biking are still at the beginning. Both teams are heading away to races this weekend. Girls soccer and volleyball are about halfway through their regular season competition, both teams with exciting district wins and more games to be played determining their standings for post season competition. 

    Please join us at our home volleyball games Thursday, September 17, where our teams and school community will come together to honor the legacy of late Fitness Center Director William B. Scott. There will be space to share memories, be in community with one another, and remember a beloved member of the USN community. We hope to see you all there.

  • MS athletics recaps for September 3-10

    Our Middle School teams have been crushing the courts this week. With strong performances by all volleyball teams and wins for both boys and girls tennis, the Tigers aren’t slowing down as they reach the midpoint of their seasons. Mountain biking will hit the trails for race No. 2 this weekend, and cross country runners crushed their first home meet.
