April 11 is Music Night with Rodney Crowell

The silent auction for Music Night has been updated with exciting new items, including Noah Kahan tickets. General admission tickets can be purchased here for $200 to hear two-time Grammy winner Rodney Crowell on stage Saturday, April 11 in Durnan Auditorium during our annual adult-only concert to benefit arts and athletics at USN.
This year’s Music Night brings something truly special to USN: an evening with Rodney Crowell, one of the greatest songwriters of our generation, a two-time Grammy winner, and a USN grandparent.

Crowell’s influence on American music is profound. A member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Crowell's songs have been cut by nearly every major country recording artist, from Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, LeeAnn Womack, Emmylou Harris, to Keith Urban; not to mention Willie Nelson, who recorded an entire album solely comprised of Crowell's songs. Bob Segar had a No. 1 pop hit with Crowell's "Shame on the Moon," and Crowell's own landmark album, "Diamonds & Dirt," produced five consecutive No. 1 country singles. With more than four decades of acclaimed work, his voice continues to shape country and Americana music today.

Get to know his iconic music through our USN-curated Spotify playlist.

Music Night will be more than a concert. The evening kicks off with USN’s faculty house band, The K–12 Situation, followed by a set from Crowell and his full band, delivering the kind of rich, live sound that defines Nashville at its best. And you may even see some USN parents joining Crowell on stage. Expect a lively, community-driven atmosphere that brings together families, alumni, and friends across generations.

Thanks to our generous sponsors covering event costs, 100% of every ticket purchased and all silent auction proceeds support arts and athletics at USN.

General admission tickets after are $200, and priority seating tickets are $275. Tickets are selling quickly, with limited availability remaining.

A special thank you to our featured sponsors MHPS, PLLC and USN parents Veronica Votypka & Russell McLean and to all of our sponsors whose support makes this evening possible.

Join us for an unforgettable night of music and connection, distinctly Nashville and uniquely USN. Hope to see you there!
