USN falls to strong Franklin Arrows squad

The team combined for 23 ground balls on the day!
The defense was the star of the game against Franklin Arrows!  Layla Jahangir '29 had three strong ground ball wins and was able to get a quick outlet to our attackers.  She did well to slow down the ball carrier on fast breaks and was quick to slide to ball anytime there was a drive to goal.

Kenzie Burke '29 did well to carry the ball down to our attacking end, demonstrating her speed and strength against a tough opponent.  When we would turn the ball over, Kenzie did well to defend immediately and get the ball back -- she had four ground balls!

Sydney Lasher '29 had two goals on the day and May Cox '28 had the third.

Tigers will face St. Cecilia at the River Campus at 10 am on Saturday.
