Late surge by Tigers provide sign of what's to come

Mike Jones
Clay Payne led the Tigers with 18 points and 17 rebounds.
Tuesday night the Tigers lost their first district contest to a talented MTCS team. The Tigers were off the mark for the entire evening from three point range going 2 for 23 from beyond the arc. Just three more makes from three would've given the Tigers enough to secure the victory. USN is beginning to show clear signs of improvement. We all hope that the Tigers can figure out a way to sustain the effort that allows them to compete at a high level.
