Spaghetti supper makes successful return

The High School Habitat for Humanity Club’s annual fundraiser brought many within the school community together while raising over $3,500.

Sperling Cafeteria buzzed with the busyness of a school day long after its usual operating hours on Friday, January 20. As families, faculty, and other members of the University School of Nashville community celebrated the culmination of Homecoming Week with High School basketball games, they had the opportunity to support a great cause as well. 

High School’s Habitat for Humanity Club brought its annual spaghetti supper fundraiser back to full form for the first time since January 2020 this year, which gave K-12 students and families a chance to spend time together over a delicious, sitdown meal before cheering the Tigers on against Grace Christian Academy. 

With meat, vegetarian, and gluten-free options available, as well as concession stand snacks, the fundraiser was quite a success; the Habitat Club raised over $3,500, all of which will help the club’s members build a home for a Nashville family through Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville later this semester.
