"Tap", "tap", is this thing on? Ahem,, Tiger golf played their last match of the season vs newly acquired rival Clarksville Academy, a product of TSSAA splitting regions into districts. Their home course is a beautiful throwback - tree lined, smaller greens, etc. Speaking of the greens, they had more undulation than we have played all year, and the holes were cut in difficult positions ahead of a city tournament. This caused more 2 - 3 putts than usual, but they managed it well, Tate Kloeppel 37, Eli Murphy 39, Joe Orem 41, Will Barrett 42, and Anne Griffin 51. This solid play gave the boys a win and Anne tied their number 1 player. The team is playing some of their best golf of the year, just in time for post season competition. Monday - TSSAA District Tournament, Ted Rhodes GC. Go Tigers!
