University School of Nashville’s annual books, media sale returns Thursday, Sept. 27 through Saturday, Sept. 29.
Everyone likes to curl up with a good book, and the University School of Nashville Association has the perfect opportunity at its Fall Book Frenzy. USN's incredible sale of gently used books and media begins for USN families Thursday, Sept. 27 and continues Friday, Sept. 28 through Fall Fest. The sale is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29.
Choose options to educate and inspire readers of all ages. Audiobooks, DVDs, music, games and puzzles are also on hand. The $5 bag sale, known as the “bibliophile feeding frenzy” will take place at 2 p.m. This event takes place in USN's Cheek Gymnasium, is free, open to the general public and benefits USN’s Hassenfeld Library.
Aliza Ahmed '26, Uma Ehrig '26, Victor Peng '26, Ruchika Ramachandran '27, and Yvonne Wang '27 participated in the Asian Educators Alliance conference this year in Atlanta, Georgia.
Anna Brook '30, Claire Yu '30, Clio Cherry-Pulay '29, and Liam Mooney '28 took him the championship during the 4th annual USN Middle School Quiz Bowl Championships. Two teams will travel to Chicago to compete in the National Academic Quiz Tournaments Middle School National Championships on Saturday, May 10.
Cpl. Robert Gibson joined University School of Nashville in November as a School Resource Officer, a certified police officer who is primarily assigned to a school and provides safety and security-related functions, including emergency response, safety training, traffic direction, and patrol functions.
