Tigers fall to CPA

Strong play from goalie, Kate Vaughn '24, to keep the game close!
The girls' lacrosse team was thrilled to play on Costello Field on Tuesday.  Taking on the Lions of CPA is always a challenge, but the Tigers were ready.  We came out strong and scored the first two goals of the game.   The Lions matched those two goals and took a 4-2 lead after the first quarter.  The Tigers were able to keep the game close throughout, but CPA was too efficient offensively and came away with the win.

The standout of the day was Kate Vaughn '24 in goal.  She had 17 saves, 2 ground balls, and 2 interceptions.  She helped keep the game close!

Stats were as follows:
Tate Barbieri: 3 goals
Aria Little: 2 goals
Annie Cox: 1 goal
Zelle Jones: 1 goal
Kate Vaughn: 17 saves
