Tough day at the ballpark as USN falls to MTCS in game 2
USN would face their 3rd Vanderbilt-committed pitcher in a week in game two against MTCS. With a fastball topping 97mph, the Tigers would draw two walks, collect two hits, and only strike out seven times against the flame thrower. Unfortunately for USN, the defense would not hold up, committing five errors in the loss.
Alexander Peck '25, Carson Darr '25, and Joseph Ozenne '25 would each collect hits for USN in the loss. USN is now 7-9 overall and 2-8 in district play. With six games remaining in the regular season, the Tigers look to bounce back on Friday at Donelson Christian Academy.
