Independence High was too much for the Tigers
Despite improved play from the prior night, it wasn't enough to defeat the Eagles.
We kept the game close in the first half, only allowing trailing 5-3. The second half, we struggled to slow down their attackers and gave up several goals on the draw-and-dump near the crease.
Margaret McKay '25 did a lot for us last night -- scored goals, grabbed ground balls, transitioned the ball down the field, and grabbed four draw controls. Kate Vaughn '24 had a solid game in goal, particularly breaking up the attack of Independence -- she had 5 interceptions in addition to her 7 saves.
Tigers take a break from game play until after spring break when they'll face Webb School of Bell Buckle at home on Thursday, 3/21.
