Project VOICE to perform for LS, MS

Spoken-word poetry group Project VOICE will perform for Lower School and Middle School at their upcoming community meetings on Thursday. March 21 and Friday, March 22.

By Kate Pritchard, Library Director

As part of the annual Author in Residence program, a joint production of the English Department and the Hassenfeld Library, two poets from Project VOICE will be bringing their signature spoken-word poetry program to students in lower and middle school during their upcoming community meetings.

During the group's visit to USN, they will also work directly in classes with all fourth and eighth graders. They'll also do a professional development workshop for local educators. This event will be free to the public but capped at 50 participants, so we're requiring advanced registration with this form. The workshop will take place 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 21 in Durnan Auditorium.

The Author in Residence program is generously supported by funds from Fall Book Frenzy.
