The Tigers traveled to The Webb School (Bell Buckle) for their first of three district matches this week. The trek was long, but the Tigers were excited and ready to get another district win under their belt. The Tigers started the match slow with a new lineup due to sickness. The slow start left the Tigers down 0-1 after the first set (17-25). Determined to not let the day's adversity get the best of them, the Tigers bounced back and played more cohesively in the second set. The score was close, but the Tigers pulled out a win in the second set, 25-23. The third and fourth sets proved to be easier matches for the Tigers (25-20, 25-15) as they controlled the energy in the gym and carried the momentum on their side. The Tigers left The Webb School with a win in just four sets. The Tigers play MTCS tomorrow at home.
