University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers Falls to Franklin Road Academy Varsity Panthers in Low-Scoring Affair

Both teams were strong on the pitcher's mound on Wednesday, but Franklin Road Academy Varsity Panthers was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers on Wednesday. Owen Block started the game for University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers and recorded 18 outs.
 
Franklin Road Academy Varsity Panthers got on the board in the first inning when Landon Harper singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
 
Franklin Road Academy Varsity Panthers pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning.
 
Logan Kinnard was the winning pitcher for Franklin Road Academy Varsity Panthers. The pitcher went six innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out five.  Jude Wascom threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
 
Block toed the rubber for University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers. The righty lasted six innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out eight.
 
Block and Townsend Stevenson each managed one hit to lead University School of Nashville Varsity Tigers.
 
Franklin Road Academy Varsity Panthers was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Christian Howell made the most plays with ten.
