The event co-chairs hope to expand the number of new and emerging artists who participate in Artclectic 2022.
By Susan Chapman, Artclectic Coordinator
Artclectic Co-Chairs Donna Gilliam (Parent of Claire Gilliam '24), Amy Manoukian (Parent of Abigail Manoukian '27 & Alexandria Manoukian '28), and Kim Sandler Rhodes '01 (Parent of Madison Rhodes '29 & JJ Rhodes '33) have started the planning process for this year's annual fundraiser and art show. In hopes of including more new and emerging artists in the show, they are looking to PDS/USN families and friends for recommendations on artists to approach. Acceptance isn’t guaranteed, but giving jurors a wide variety of artists to choose from makes the show more vibrant and diverse.
Please share the application link with art-loving friends, or let us know if you want us to reach out to your favorite artists. Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, April 20.
Artclectic 2022 will be held Thursday, October 20 through Saturday, October 22 at University School of Nashville. Proceeds benefit the Endowment for Innovative Teaching.
For the third time, the junior has earned recognition for her C-SPAN StudentCam documentary. Elected officials and a representative from the network honored her during High School Assembly on Friday, May 2.
