On Sunday, August 15, an unfortunate torrential downpour delayed the much-anticipated presentation of the Middle School Theater Department's 2020-2021 musical, "Junie B. Jones." The student-actors spent much of the previous school year rehearsing and filming, but did not get the opportunity to share their finished film before the year's close. While it was set to serve as a kick-off to the 2021-2022 year, the exciting reveal will now be on Friday, October 8.
Watch charming chapter book character Junie B. Jones navigate the highs and lows of first grade set to a score of toe-tapping tunes that will make you want to sing along. Screened on the back field of the Edgehill Campus on Friday, October 8, students and families are welcome to bring their own chairs or blanket for an evening of exciting entertainment at either of the two showtimes:
The Tickle Cast's film will begin at 6:45 p.m. featuring students from the Classes of 2028 and 2027.
The Pedro Cast's film will begin at 8 p.m. featuring students from the Classes of 2026 and 2025.
If it is raining or the ground is soaked, we will move inside with your blankets and chairs to watch the show in the auditorium. Maximum capacity for the auditorium is 150 at this time; as a result, we ask that you be considerate of all families and attend only your student's showing if the screening is moved indoors. Masks will be required. Just as we have in Fall Fests past, we expect students to stay with their families in the auditorium; students should not use this time to wander about the building.
Admission is free and parking is available in the 19th Avenue lot. All school protocols regarding COVID-19 must be followed at all times.
