National Geographic names Fundis '99 Emerging Explorer

Alumna Allison Fundis was named as part of the National Geographic Society's 2021 Emerging Explorer Cohort.
Chief Operating Officer of the nonprofit Ocean Exploration Trust, which seeks to make new discoveries in geology, biology, and archaeology while conducting scientific exploration of the seafloor, Allison Fundis '99 is one of 15 individuals selected for the National Geographic Society's 2021 Emerging Explorer Cohort. In her work as a geologist and oceanographer, Fundis is committed to finding ways to make the STEM field more equitable and inclusive.
