This morning at USN
This letter was shared with USN families and faculty at 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 3 regarding the overnight storms and tornadoes that swept through Middle Tennessee.
Good morning, USN families.
Some of you have been awakened by the strong storms and tornados that moved through our community overnight. Parts of Germantown, Bordeaux, East Nashville, Mt. Juliet, and points eastward appear to have the most significant damage.
As we draft this early morning letter, Davidson County remains under a tornado watch until 6 a.m., and many families have been impacted by overnight tornados. If you or your family have been affected, please let your respective divisional office know so that we can coordinate coverage and support as needed.
We will have school at University School of Nashville today. The USN morning buses will not run this morning. We are aware parts of I-40 and some roads are closed. Please be mindful of road conditions in your neighborhood and use discretion coming to USN today. Exercise caution and consider personal safety as the first priority.
