Team #15 Rallies from Behind to Advance in Playoffs

What an exciting 3-2 win, fighting back from a 0-2 deficit! Our last two games were "character" wins, by the mere fact that we came from behind in a big way. Our team managed to play hard despite being down, and clawed their way back to post two great wins. We still have work to do though! : )

This evening our team settled in after a slow first period and began to dictate play, finally capitalizing on a goal from Danylo Lazarenko. It was a 50:50 second period and we managed to tie the game with a heads up play behind the net by Caleb Rice to setup Townes Haley for the tying goal. Caleb stripped the opponent and setup a great pass to the point.

During the third period there was plenty of excitement both ways and Zach Figus did an excellent job keeping us in the game. With about four minutes remaining, our third goal came by chance as Townes netted #3 by throwing the puck to the net. A simple floater that managed to get over the goalie and find the mesh. Boom, GOAL!

Again our defense played very well and tonight Charlie Ford and Jesse Small did center duties with poise and grit!
