Tigers fall short to the Bears in the Tiger's Den

Coach Anderson
As the Thanksgiving holiday loomed, the Tigers took the court versus a familiar opponent, the Davidson Academy Bears. Starting hot, the Tigers led by the perimeter shooting of Harry Stahl ('27), jumped to a first quarter lead on the Bears 13-2. The next three quarters the Bears clawed their way back into the game and took the lead in the 3rd quarter with a heavy scoring barrage; outscoring the Tigers 23-12. At the final horn, the Tigers fell to the Davidson Academy Bears 37-57. The Tigers were led in scoring by Akil Radford ('26) and Stahl with 13 and 9 points on the evening. Our next matchup will be Wednesday, November 29th on the road versus Antioch HS.
