The Tigers secured an impressive win in their region game against Columbia Academy, dominating the match from start to finish. It was an ideal day for soccer, and the Tigers capitalized on it. Dawkins ('28) led the offensive charge, scoring two goals, while Manoukian ('28), Rudolph ('26), and Fierce ('27) each contributed a goal, bringing the halftime score to a commanding 4-0 lead.
As the temperature rose around noon, the Tigers maintained their intensity, with the defense stepping up to stifle any attempts from Columbia Academy. The back line worked tirelessly to prevent any meaningful attacks, showing their determination to hold the shutout. Goalkeeper Chomsky ('25) had a solid performance, making 1 save in the first half and 4 in the second, earning a well-deserved shutout in this postseason matchup.
The game was a full-team effort, with every player contributing to the victory. The Tigers now look ahead to their next challenge, a game at DCA this Tuesday, as they continue their postseason journey.
Consisting of 82 High Schoolers, the Model U.N. team returned to the Model United Nations conference and delivered a stellar performance, keeping USN’s tradition of providing leadership from the front, in the middle, and at the end of the conference going.
