In the second set the USN Tigers struggled finding consistency early and the Ensworth Tigers came out with gusto to get take the lead. London Shute ‘31 and Lily Miller ‘31 each earned an ace and Serena Tanner ‘31 earned two aces. Both Tiger teams were able to keep it close, but both teams had a tough time with serve receive and connecting passes to their setters. The Ensworth Tigers came out with the win 22-25.

Down to the wire. The third set followed suit with points being traded back-and-forth between the two determined teams. Allie Jackson ‘31 contributed offensively with an ace and Margaux Soslow ‘31 added two of her own. Defensively Serena Tanner ‘31 and Ryan Ricks ‘31 showed a lot of leadership as they hustled for each ball and kept the ball in play, which helped give the edge to the USN Tigers! This team continues to find ways to compete and get better! Their mental fortitude, their belief in each other, and their own skill is so fun to see. While it’s sad to see the end of the season nearing, it only makes you appreciate these moments more. Keep it up Tigers! Good luck in your next game!
