Varsity Boys Tennis Opens up on the Road at Ensworth

The MS Varsity Boys Tennis team started their quest for an HVAC championship visiting division rival Ensworth last Thursday at their indoor high school courts.

The USN Tigers were led by Bruce Li ‘31 who defeated Ensworth’s #2 player with an impressive 8-0 score.  The Tigers fought in the other matches to add to their tally with the 8th graders leading the charge including Max Parker ‘29 and Oliver Stahl ‘29  in singles and Carter Kojetin ‘29  and Preston Chan ‘29 and Matthew Golann ‘29 and Vihaan Sinha ‘29 in doubles.  Unfortunately, the USN Tigers fell short losing 4-1 but are excited to improve as the season progresses.  The boys tennis team returns to action today at MBA.
