Tigers Lose But Are Showing Improvement

Doug Brown
The varsity Tigers hosted BA on Wednesday afternoon in the Sperling Gym. The Tigers dropped the first set 16-25 after a rash of missed opportunities and some very good play by our opponents. In the second set, the girls were down 9-17 when Madison Rhodes stepped to the service line and proceeded to score 8 strait points, tying the game 17-17! Hattie Bishop had probably her best game as our Libero, taking most of BA's serves and delivering high passes on our first touch. Indigo Petraglia contributed offensively with a couple of nice swings at the net. BA pulled away to win the game 18-25. The Varsity Tigers are now 2-2 on the season.
