Intense Showdown at CA

In an intense showdown on Thursday evening, the Tigers embarked on a journey to face off against Columbia Academy, creating a memorable chapter in their volleyball season. As the night unfolded, emotions ran high in the gymnasium, as Columbia Academy was in the midst of celebrating their senior night, adding an extra layer of intensity to the contest. The Tigers' performance throughout the match was nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. They exhibited moments of sheer brilliance, followed by periods of struggle, making it an unpredictable and exciting encounter. The Columbia Academy crowd was in full voice, cheering on their seniors and creating an electric atmosphere that added to the drama of the night. The Tigers took the first two sets (28-26, 25-13). It was in the third set that CA really turned up the heat. They started the third set up 9-0! The Tigers worked hard to fight back, but dropped the third set. The fourth set was similar and CA took another set win. With the match tied, the tension in the gym was palpable. It all came down to the fifth and final set, a decisive battle that would determine the victor. The Tigers dug deep and unleashed their full potential. They exhibited unwavering resolve, playing every point as if it were their last. It was a heart-pounding showdown, with both teams leaving it all on the court. The match concluded with a win in the Tiger’s column (15-7). The Tigers will compete on Monday for the first round of the District Tournament. Go Tigers!
