Submit vaccination status for students in grades K-6
The Health Team is compiling data on vaccination rates. Please help by submitting your student's vaccine card to Magnus Health.

We are happy to report that many of our 5 to 11-year-olds are actively working on getting their COVID-19 vaccines and many have completed the series already. For those families who have already uploaded their students' vaccine cards to our school's health information database, Magnus Health, thank you.
For those of you who haven’t yet, we are including instructions below to help make it easier. If all else fails, you can email a picture of the card to the Health Room, and we will upload it for you.
Knowing the vaccination status of as many students as possible helps inform our decision-making around COVID-19 mitigation strategies as well as our contact tracing and quarantine procedures. Fully vaccinated, asymptomatic students are not required to quarantine or undergo our test to stay procedure. Additionally, reaching a high vaccination rate may allow us to relax some of our existing mitigation strategies. We have seen a stark difference in COVID-19 case numbers in grades 7-12 this year, a clear testament to the benefits of a high level of vaccination in 12 to 18-year-olds.
To submit your student's vaccination card to Magnus Health follow the steps and pictures below.
1. Log into your Parent account on usn.org or the MySchoolApp
2. Select the Resources tab at the top of your screen.
3. On the Resources page, select the Student Health System (Magnus Health) tile.
4. Magnus Health will open in a new window. You cannot access this from the Magnus App used for daily screening last year.
5. Click on Student Health Tracker on the first screen.
6. Select COVID-19 Vaccine Documentation.
7. Select Edit to pull up a dialogue box or Answer Requirement or Turn It In to upload a picture of the vaccine card.
8. Text will pop up to notify you that you've been successful. Reasons for an unsuccessful upload an include incompatible file type and a file size that is too large.
If you are having difficulties, a member of the Health Team is happy to upload it for you; simply email us your student's vaccination card.
We are starting to hear about some flu cases, and we expect more cases nationwide than last year. We encourage flu shots to help minimize illness, and it is ok for your child to get the COVID-19 vaccine and the flu shot at the same time.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s FluView site shows a map of flu activity across the United States. We are seeing a lot of non-COVID viral illnesses too. We encourage families to keep sick students home even if they have a negative COVID-19 test. For students who start having symptoms at school, we have the ability to screen them for COVID-19, but we are unable to do flu and strep tests onsite. We are happy to help provide guidance to anyone unsure of the best plan regarding testing, doctor visits, and symptom management.
