“But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?”
Nope. Romeo and Juliet.

“To be, or not to be: that is the question: ...”
Nah. Hamlet.

“Out, damned spot! out, I say!”
Sigh. Still not right. That’s Macbeth.

“What, you egg!” (stabs)
Maybe, maybe…

“Lord, what fools these mortals be!”
Yes, it's definitely time for "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" as an immersive theater experience.

The USN High School Theater Department is pleased to present Shakespeare’s classic "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" with a twist. All of your favorite characters are still there: Demetrius, Helena, Lysander, Titania, Oberon, Puck. The lyrical language still flows. Shakespeare’s story remains.

What changes is the audience’s view. USN is performing its winter play as an interactive experience. It’s "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" presented as an immersive theater event, and it’s going to be fantastic. The interactive nature of the performance ensures that no two shows will be exactly the same. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.

Due to the increased audience involvement, tickets are strictly limited to 50 per show. Advanced ticket reservations are highly recommended. Tickets are $5 for general admission and free for USN faculty, staff, students, and Tiger Arts Patrons members.

The High School Theater Department, cast, and crew ask that you please be considerate in your ticket purchases and refrain from reserving tickets for every performance. Instead, if you would like to attend a second performance, please check at the door 15 minutes prior to showtime. The box office will make every effort to allow as many new attendees each evening as possible, while still having a full house for our performers. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Showtimes are:
5 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2020
7 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2020
2 p.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020
7 p.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020
2 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2020

Audience members should check in prior to each performance in the Gordon Multipurpose Room on the first floor to begin their experience.
