Her research paper "United We Stand: Chinese Triumph Over America's Exclusion Era" goes on to the Tennessee State History Day Competition.

Erica Friedman, a junior in Advanced Placement United States History, took her research paper to the regional Tennessee History Day Competition. Her paper won, and she will take it to the State History Day competition (to be conducted virtually). "United We Stand: Chinese Triumph Over America's Exclusion Era" is the name of her award-winning work.
