Students to participate in band, orchestra honor ensembles
USN High School students successfully auditioned for Mid-State and will rehearse with peers this month.

We are proud of all of these students, who will venture out to Murfreesboro this weekend and next to meet other local instrumentalists and rehearse and perform under the direction of respected visiting conductors. Of particular note for Tiger pride, Sheeline Yu ’21 has been named first chair violin (concertmaster) of the 9/10 Orchestra.
Participants include:
Silver Band: Trevor Zou ’20, euphonium
Gold Band: Gracie Li, ’21, bassoon
9/10 Orchestra: Sheeline Yu ’21, violin (All-State)
11/12 Orchestra: Amanda Ding ’19, cello (All-State); Jason Kuchtey ’20, violin
