The Little Free Library on 19th Avenue South is open to the public. Leave a book to share or take a book to read.
by Tonia Klein, USNA president
Have you noticed anything new on 19th Avenue? Sitting in front of the Outdoor Classroom is USN’s new Little Free Library. Generously built and donated by USN parent Carrington Fox, the Little Free Library was unveiled by 2019 Fall Book Frenzy Chairs Nicole Brod and Jennifer Aaron on Monday, April 22. Registered on Little Free Library's worldwide map, it has already become a popular stop within the neighborhood. Take a look, and remember to “Take a book and Share a book.”
Thank you for all the children's, middle grade, and young adult books donated during the Fall Book Frenzy spring book drive. We are no longer taking donations and will have another collection in September.
Consisting of 82 High Schoolers, the Model U.N. team returned to the Model United Nations conference and delivered a stellar performance, keeping USN’s tradition of providing leadership from the front, in the middle, and at the end of the conference going.
Students in Fifth Grade English Teacher Kevin Foster’s class wrapped up a lesson on storytelling and personal reflection by sharing their stories with members of the USN community.
