Tigers lose a tough one to Hendersonville
Julia Spessard '23 and Tate Barbieri '25 each score two goals for USN.
USN struggled to find their grove on a wet, dreary afternoon at the River Campus. Hendersonville scored two early goals before settling in on attack and milking time off the clock. The aggressive play from Hendersonville made it difficult to find many scoring opportunities and our shallow bench asked players to play through exhaustion.
We had a few great moments, including a great assist from Eva Wuerth '23 to Annie Cox '24 for a quick stick goal and a great caused turnover by Annie in the attacking half of the field.
Unfortunately we couldn't get enough going on attack to get the win.
