MS recognizes, celebrates spring student-athletes

Middle School student-athletes enjoyed a spring sports recognition night on Monday, May 1. Continue reading to discover the athletes recognized.
By Lilly Miller, MS Athletics Director

Every spring, we honor eighth graders that are University School of Nashville multi-sport athletes who play three or more sports for our school throughout the year for their commitment and dedication to our athletic program.

Middle School is a great place, and time in a student's development, to try many different things. We’re grateful for these eighth graders and their families for choosing us — choosing to come to practices, travel to games, and sacrifice elsewhere to keep our programs strong and robust.

Congratulations to our Tiger Stripes Award winners:

  • Back-to-school Popsicle Party canceled

Mother Nature is not cooperating for our annual Popsicle Party. Depending on which weather app you use, actual and feels-like temperatures are 98 to 101 and higher. Under these conditions, we would limit student activities, so, in the interest of everyone's health and well-being, we are going to cancel our gathering at the River Campus. There is just not enough shade and certainly no air conditioning to bring relief to hundreds of USN families. Thank you for understanding. We look forward to seeing you in a few days for the start of our new school year.
