The freshmen had a great showing in the first game of the season. With wind chills below freezing, the players showed toughness and resilience against a strong Brentwood team. Lia Payne '22 and Ellie Bowles '22 were strong in the midfield, competing at a level beyond their years. Lia scored the first goal of the game to give USN the lead for a brief moment. Olivia Dossett '19 led the Tigers in all categories with two goals, ten ground balls, five draw controls, and three caused turnovers.
