Tennessee artist closes career at USN

The 8-foot drawings of artist Ed Carlos of Sewanee, Tennessee are in the Tibbott Gallery through the end of February.

"Bending History," drawings by Ed Carlos, will debut in the Tibbott Gallery next week. The opening reception for Carlos took place 4-6 p.m. Thursday, January 25.

Ed Carlos was a professor at Sewanee: The University of the South for over 30 years. Since his retirement, he has been able to completely devote himself to his artwork. This body of work is the culmination of a series that Carlos began in 2020 and will be his final gallery showing. It will be on display through the end of February.
