Director Vince Durnan shared this letter with the USN community on Wednesday, January 6 regarding unrest at the U.S. Capitol.
"It’s time to recommit to one another and to our responsibility as a people, to reconnect to the sacrifices that brought us to this point and to the fundamentals of American democracy," he wrote. "Schools play an essential role in that work, right alongside households and families."
