Reading Challenge 2021: Category Two recommendations
Readers of all ages are invited to join the Hassenfeld Library’s Reading Challenge 2021 for the fun of sharing books with friends and family (and the chance to win prizes, too). Category 2 is a book with an animal on the cover. Read on for suggestions from our librarians.

Below are some books that might be good choices for the second category in our annual reading challenge; this category is a book with an animal on the cover.
Picture books:
“How to Find a Fox” by Nilah Magruder
“A Boy and a Jaguar” by Alan Rabinowitz
“There Is a Bird on Your Head” by Mo Willems
Chapter books: “Allie, First at Last” by Angela Cervantes
As a reminder, here’s how the challenge works: read at least one book in each category by the end of April and turn in your tracking sheet to the library for a chance to win a prize. Any kind of book counts for the challenge: picture books, audiobooks, graphic novels, poetry, cookbooks, and any other type of book you can imagine.
Visit the library’s Reading Challenge page to learn more about the challenge, to download a tracking sheet, and to get ideas for books in each category.
