It was a great victory for the Tigers against Harding at home in their third game. The starters started the game off fast paced and set the tone for the whole game, finishing the 1st quarter with a commanding 12 point lead. The bench blended in well in the 2nd and kept the fast pace play going, finishing the half out with a score of 24-4. The phenomenal play continued until the final buzzer, it was a great all around performance from everyone on the team. The final score was 42-11.

  • Tigers start 2 - 0 in HVAC play

It was a well fought victory for the tigers at home against Lipscomb in their second game of the season. Dominance in athleticism showed early on through players like Jordan Turner who cleaned the glass, collecting many offensive rebounds. Josh Scretchen took hard drives to the basket and showed great play execution, while Adrian Samuels shared the ball effectively, hitting Russ Petty and Adam Miller so they could go to work in the post or nail an outside jumper. The starters set the bench players up perfectly to finish out the 1st half. Max Elliot was a strong post presence and Jackson Liff stepped up and executed the point, finding openings for teammate Chris Laibinis. It was tied 24 all at the end of the first, but the tigers came out strong in the 2nd half, putting Lipscomb to the test with a full court press. It remained a tight game until the 4th quarter when the tigers pulled away with the lead, once again passing it off to the bench to hold that lead. They were able to keep it through plays like Piers Mason hitting Josh Jacobs on the fast break for a nice layup. The final score was 53-48, tigers on top.
