    Will Mantlo
The Tigers headed to North Nashville to play their final league game of the season Thursday night at Goodpasture. They knew they would be in for a tough game as it is never an easy place to play. The Cougars jumped out to a quick lead early in the game with several drives to the basket. Myles Hamilton kept the Tigers in it early as he scored the teams first 8 points. The tigers fought hard the whole first half and after a turnover and bucket with 5 seconds to go took a one point lead into half. coming down the stretch in was back and forth until a few minutes left in the fourth quarter when the Cougars took the lead for good and went on to a 45-35 victory. Myles Hamilton continued his streak of double figure scoring with 12 points while Alex Bahner added 9 points and 6 boards. The Tigers will travel to Ensworth Middle today to take on the other Tigers at 5:00pm.
  • Tigers are stunned at the buzzer

    Will Mantlo
The Tigers took the floor Tuesday night ready for the task ata hand. After a slow start in the first quarter the Tigers picked up from there on. They handled the ball well against the press, played excellent defense, and rebounded the ball very well. All three had been points of emphasis the last few weeks. After a close first half the Tigers found themselves down by 3 at halftime. The boys came out in the third quarter ready to play and out scored DCA 14-5 in the third. In the fourth the game got tight as DCA battled back by making a couple 3's with defense all over them. Myles Hamilton stepped up and was 4 of 4 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter. The Tigers found themselves up 1 point with 3.5 seconds to go and the other team had the ball under their own basket. The Tigers did a good job not allowing any cutters to the basket. DCA threw it out to a guard on the perimeter who air balled the shot which flew over the goal to the other side of the basket directly to an opportunistic Wildcat who then caught and shot the ball in mid air and it dropped in right before the buzzer sounded. This was a heart-breaking way to end the season but the team played very well last night and all year long. Myles Hamilton lead the team in scoring with 10 points while Duncan Clark and Alex Bahner each added 8.
  • Tigers open strong Pioneers en route to Semi's

The transition off was too much early on as Myles Hamilton and Isaac Eskind got the ball down the floor quickly and found open team mates. The Tigers did a good job defensively making it tough for the opponent to get good looks at the basket. They jumped out to a 27-11 lead at half and never looked back. By the end of the game everyone was able to get in the game. The team was lead by Myles Hamilton's 12 points while Alex Bahner had his second double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The Tigers advance to take on the number one seeded DCA tomorrow night.
