Elizabeth Geiger '30 finishes the equalizer with less than a minute in the game!
Brentwood Academy was a strong defensive team. They put a lot of pressure on the ball and made it difficult to dodge or drive to goal. We had to work hard on feeding the ball into the 8m which takes timing, catching/throwing skills, and solid decision making. What great practice for us!
Johnsie Dawkins '28 dominated our stat sheet, once again, with five goals, 8 ground balls, and 5 draw controls. Elizabeth Geiger '30 had one goal -- at a very good time -- in the last minute of the game to tie the game for the Tigers. Sydney Lasher '29 had a great game in the midfield and secured the last draw control of the game to give the Tigers a chance to score a game-winning goal, but unfortunately we couldn't get to the cage.
Layla Omary was SOLID in goal-- 5 goals with only 6 goals against. Amazing!
Congratulations to the Tigers on well-fought game!
