MBA Tops USN 5-1

Michael Eisen
The Tigers came up short in a well played game losing to Montgomery Bell Academy on Wednesday 5-1. Once again Oliver Stahl pitched well in a solid five inning outing but MBA was able to string together enough timely hits to garner the victory. Stahl’s was backed by the terrific defense of shortstop Gil Jones who had five putouts as well as overall solid team defense. Also, Caleb Truss pitched very well in helping keep the game within reach in the late innings. But the Tiger bats remained quiet throughout the day and USN took a loss.
