USN Stymied by BGA

USN had trouble keeping up with BGA on Friday in a 10-4 loss at the River Campus. BGA jumped out to an early lead, plating three runs in both the 1st and 2nd innings. USN would answer back with one of their own in the bottom of the fourth before BGA would score three more runs again in the top of the 5th. Undeterred, USN would counter with a three-spot of their own in the bottom of the 6th, but it wasn't enough to climb back in the game.

For the Tigers, Dylan Washko '24 went 2-3 with a double, leading the team in hits. Joseph Ozenne also collected a double in the game. USN looks to bounce back Monday at Vanderbilt's Hawkins Field, where it will take on district opponent Providence Christian Academy at 5:00. USN is now 5-3 overall and 1-3 in the district.
