University School of Nashville Tigers Secure Win Against Nashville Christian School

USN took the field over spring break for a doubleheader with cross-town foe Nashville Christian on March 13th. USN opened the scoring in the top of the 3rd thanks to a lead-off walk by Harry Stahl ‘27. Stahl would move up to second on a perfectly executed sacrifice bunt from Charles Cook ‘27 and later come around to score on an RBI single from Alexander Peck ‘25. The Tigers took a 4-1 lead going into the 5th inning when they would plate five additional runs thanks to a walk from Andrew Walker ‘26, a bunt single from Carson Darr ‘25, a single from AJ Truss ‘27 and a bases-loaded double from Grant Reilly ‘24. USN would go on to win 10-7. Mahoney Daunic would pick up the win on the mound, going 5.1 IP and striking out 7.
