Tigers Make Their Stand Against #1 Providence Christian

Karsten Olson
Nashville, TN- It’s starting to come together for the Tigers. Despite being smaller at all five positions, the Tigers held their own tonight vs. PCA. USN broke their shooting slump starting in the second quarter and the momentum held through the rest of the game. Uma Peters and Elisabeth Crane led the Tigers in scoring with 9 and 6 points respectively. USN was down at half, but at the end of the second, the Tigers tied the number 1 team in the state in both quarters, marking a huge improvement in their play. The Tigers wrap up district play this Thursday 2/1 against Columbia Academy while celebrating Seniors Josie Whelan, Olivia Hess, and Kate Vaughn.
