Whelan and Chomsky Show Out Homecoming Night

Nashville, TN The girls in garnet needed a win Friday night. The USN Homecoming game brought out the full school. As the tip went up, the stands were already filling rapidly. The Tigers, not afraid of the spotlight, came to play. Elisabeth Crane and Uma Peters both contributed 8 points a piece while controlling the tempo of the game, but it was the monumental performances of Josie Whelan and Tessa Chomsky that helped lead the Tigers to a resounding win over the Tennessee Heat Friday night. Tessa hit a career high 17 points including 5 three pointers, while Josie Whelan recorded 14 points and an outstanding 20 rebounds. The Tigers hope to ride their momentum as they host Dayspring Academy at home on Tuesday, January 16th.
